Half Marathon Course
A brief description: After a climb on the service road, the Westside trail single track climbs gently for over 2 miles until you rejoin the service road for the main climb to the top of Silver Queen lift, turn around an enjoy a fast descent for the approximately 2 miles. Leave the service road again and head over on a single track to run the last 5 miles that are rolling trails that eventually descend back to the base area finish line.
Detailed version which is subject to slight changes: Start at the base of Red Lady/Silver Queen lifts. Run down the paved road in front of Axtell and then pick up the service road that climbs towards the top of Peachtree lift. Follow the main service road to the top of West Wall lift. At West Wall angle to the right to pick up the lower section of West Side trail. Climb West Side trail across the road at the old gun turret and continue until the trail ends at the bottom of Upper Park (service road, horseshoe & upper westside all intersect here).
