The Mountain Express
Description: Provides free transportation between and around Crested Butte and Mt. Crested Butte. MX does offer complementary ParaTransit (curb to curb) service for eligible disabled passengers. Individuals with disabilities, who are unable to use the regular MX Fixed Route, please contact the office for information.

Two Buttes Senior Transportation
Description: Provides rides to seniors residents in Crested Butte and Gunnison who need to travel to Montrose and Grand Junction for doctors appointments.

Intake Procedure: Call to schedule a ride, request must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Medical appointments in Grand Junction must be made after 1 pm. Riders must be able to get around on their own and manage their own care during trips. The drivers are not trained to be caregivers. If you are a rider who isn’t able to provide your own care then it is encouraged that a caregiver accompanies you.
