Transportation

Living Journeys recognizes that due to our rural location and proximity to specialized forms of cancer treatments, Gunnison County residents may experience difficulty in traveling to and from their cancer treatments.  We offer multiple types of assistance: volunteer drivers, transportation grants, loaner vehicles, lodging assistance, and other travel resources.

Drivers

We will help match volunteer drivers with individuals needing transportation to treatment.  Volunteer to be a driver.

Transportation Grants

Living Journeys has funds available to offset the cost of travel to treatment.

Loaner Vehicles

Tough Enough to Wear Pink (TETWP), the local breast cancer support organization, has 2 vehicles that are available to assist people needing to get to cancer treatment. In 2018 TETWP made their vehicles available to people with all cancer types. Living Journeys can help connect you with a TETWP vehicle for you next trip to treatment.
